A: Yes. We always recommend fully charging any Pulsar vaporizer straight out of the package. This process plays a pivotal role in conditioning the battery unit for long term usage. For additional instructions, please refer to the user manual provided with the Pulsar APX 2.

Cleaning & Maintenance

A: The APX 2 should only be cleaned with the cleaning brush provided—do not use solvents or chemicals. Using solvents or chemical cleaners can damage your unit and could possibly harm your health as you would be inhaling fumes. If you use the cleaning brush after each use, your unit should stay clean for the remainder of its lifetime.

A: First, please make sure that your APX 2 and is fully charged and unlocked. If you have carefully followed all instructions for usage and it is still not working, please contact our Customer Service Department to see if your unit is still covered and to file an online warranty claim for a replacement.
A: 1 year from the date of purchase. Make sure to keep a copy of your original sales receipt should you need to file a warranty claim in the future.
A: The Pulsar Limited Warranty Service Agreement protects users against damages resulting from the manufacturing process and/or internal issues that are found to be production related.
A: The Pulsar Limited Warranty Service Agreement does not cover damages resulting from normal wear and tear on the unit, or damages resulting from improper use, improper cleaning, or any accidental damages caused by user error.

Getting the Most Out of Your Pulsar APX 2

  • For best results with the Pulsar APX 2, fill the chamber halfway or more, but do not pack tightly. This allows for even heat distribution and room to stir your dry material if necessary throughout usage.
  • Once the Pulsar APX 2 reaches the desired temperature, allow 30 seconds before using. This ensures the dry material in the chamber is evenly heated, maximizing efficiency.
  • Always allow the Pulsar APX 2 to reheat for 5 seconds between each inhale.
  • To maximize efficiency, allow the Pulsar APX 2 to cool, and then stir material before the next cycle.
  • Be sure to turn off the Pulsar APX 2 when you are done by pressing the on/off button 5 times within 2 seconds.

Try these Solutions to common issues:

A: A few things could be causing this. Is the 5-click safety lock in place? Try clicking your Pulsar APX 2 button five times and see if anything happens.

Is the device showing any LED lights at all? If not, make sure that it’s charged properly.

Are the LED lights indicating anything? If you feel the Pulsar APX 2 is fully charged, but are unable to get it to respond to your actions, please contact us.

A: There are many variables at play here. Try a slightly warmer temperature. Make sure the blend is not loaded to tightly, or too loosely. These factors greatly dictate vapor quality: the consistency of the grind of your aromatic blend, the amount of blend in the heating chamber and how evenly the chamber is loaded. A good baseline to start with is the following:

• A consistent grind (all ground particles are roughly the same size).

• A medium-fine to fine grind.

• A full heating chamber, but not loaded tightly. Do not fill the chamber past the top – lightly tamp it down to be level. The filter will push it down slightly, so accommodate for this so that this does not create a tight load.

• Vary your draw rate: it’s possible you are drawing too hard or too fast. Slow down a bit, and see if the vapor qualities change.

A: Even at the highest setting, this is unlikely. Check to ensure that the vaporization temperature of your blend falls within the range of the Pulsar APX 2: 356°F – 428°F.
A: The Pulsar APX 2 does not offer pass-through charging and can’t be used when plugged in.

Pulsar offers a 1 year limited warranty on the APX 2 and its accessories against defects in materials and workmanship.

The Pulsar Warranty Service does not cover against normal wear and tear by the user; damages caused by intentional or accidental dropping, or submerging in liquid; improper cleaning or neglect; lost or stolen parts; or any other damage that is not a result of defective materials or workmanship.

Damages caused by use of Pulsar products with any unlicensed item or any accessory not approved for usage with Pulsar Vaporizers; or damages and defects that result from usage of the product for illegal purposes. The Pulsar Warranty Service is NON-TRANSFERABLE.
